We made Dawson yesterday, after travelling up fro whitehorse. Had problems with my computer in Skagway, and it now seems it was the wireless connection at the RV park in Skagway, but no wireless in Whirehorse, nor Dawson, but found this little internet cafe.
We are about to tr and get the 30' RV on the small cross river car ferry, to cross the Yukon and head up onto the Top of the World Highway. It is open to day ,with a pilot car for 70 miles of it. But the highway closes Friday.
Camped out at a Gold Panning site last night, it was minus 6 degrees here. The ground is frozen and the ponds freeze up until the mid afternoon.
Not much time, so will update more and photo's maybe at Fairbanks, but will make a plan at TOK,
All going well, should be in Chicken, Alaksa, tonight.
